Destiny fans rejoice, Lightfall has been showcased, detailing the next expansion that is set to commence at the end of the Light and Dark saga. Powered by The Witness, Calus and his army are challenging the Guardians in the new city of Neomuna in ways never seen before. Headlined by the Witness, Calus’ army will be comprised of anewly empowered Shadow Legion and Tormentors. Destiny fans already know the story of this Cabal and his army; however, this time will be different.
The Shadow Legion will be backing up the fallen emperor, albeit with a nice makeover compared to previous iterations of his army. The Shadow Legion are brutal, powerful, and have access to unique technology gained from the ominous Pyramid, such as weapons to suppress Guardian abilities.
A new Pyramid unit called Tormentors, who look like a much fiercer version of Dementors from Harry Potter, are also set to join The Shadow Legion. Tormentors are the embodiment of fear as they are massive, scythe-wielding units that can attack from range or pull you in to suck out your life force.
