Baldur’s Gate 3 update 16 makes the gameplay experience much more accessible with the newest quality-of-life features. First, we now haveeasy access to quest-related equipmentthat may have been challenging to grab prior. They’re now available instantly regardless of whether you have them currently equipped or not. That saves you a lot of time and space for those who have packed theirinventory.
Besides this handy mechanic,Mac users will receive updates alongside PC, as opposed to the usual long times. It won’t be immediate, but you’re able to expectfixes to arrive earlier, within a maximum of two weeks. The patch also resolves cross-save issues with modded saves, which will now stop syncing due to a console’s inability to access them.
On top of the content from the previousupdates, the Epilogue provides a few Potions of Animal Speaking to give you more time with your beloved companions. Characters likeKarlach, Wyll, and Cazador have received updates as well. The hotfix addresses some spoilery bits, so check out the patch notes below if you’re far enough into the story.
This also includes a solution to a wonky dialogue scene with Gale that triggers during his kissing scene. Thus, all those Gale lovers can get back to smooching.
Traveling is now much smoother with Waypoint categories, grouped by location. Typically, this mechanic has been somewhat confusing to keep track of. Locations were often jumbled up together during the later stages (especially duringAct 2).
