The Striker’s success has mostly been directed towards MW3 where the Striker’s stats excelled, but in Warzone that isn’t necessarily the case, the Striker’s damage per shot isn’t at the top of the food chain, and withARsandBRsdominating the medium range we do not need the Striker’s excellent mid-range stats.
So there’s a lot to change about the Striker to make it Warzone-ready, but with a few choice attachments, we can turn this MW3-dominating weapon into one that takesUrzikstanby storm.

We start off our list with an improvement to range at the cost of some recoil control, the HMRES MOD Suppressor keeps us off the minimap as its main benefit since the range increase isn’t pivotal.
For an increase in mobility, we use the DR-6 Handstop and the Striker Stubby Barrel. Together they vastly improve our ADS speed, movement speed, and aim walking speed, which can be the difference maker in a close-range gunfight. These attachments allow fast rotations and even faster Clint Eastwood impersonation
Our last improvement to ADS time is the Lachmann Nemesis-10 Stock bringing our total aim down sight time to just over 170 milliseconds.
Finally, we used the 48 Round Magazine over the 60 Round Drum to avoid the ADS penalty and we found that 48 bullets is enough for most situations.
The Sticker Recon Long Barrel may be a strange choice for an SMG, but since the Striker’s unique advantage is its devastating damage at longer ranges than others of its class, we want to prioritize that strength. The XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop is an obvious choice as it helps with handling and control. To add some damage to our loadout we use the .45 Auto Overpressured which gives the Striker some extra bite.
Finally, we have the 60-Round-Drum to fight for as long as possible and the Sakin ZX Grip that promises to help with recoil and control so you can hit your shots.
Best Striker Perks
Warzone’s perk system sees no improvement or redesign like MW3, but does feature several new and interesting perks that could change the META.
The best perks are as follows:
First, we start with Sleight of Hand; any veteran player will know the value of faster reloads, so it makes our initial choice very easy. Second, we use Double Time, another obvious choice given the open sightlines and tight corridors of the new Warzone map. You’ll find yourself outplaying enemy squads with some quick thinking and faster movement.
Resupply keeps a never-ending supply of both lethal and tactical for anything that your heart could desire. Campers? Chuck in some frag grenades. Got a long distance to cross? Throw down some smokes. Resupply answers many of life’s questions. High Alert is an unsung hero in the new Warzone, offering you information on enemy positions and protecting your life when it matters the most.

After 14 years, it has finally returned to claim the title ofbest SMG—The Striker (better known as the UMP-45). This revitalized SMG has large shoes to fill, but does it live up to its legacy? Yes, it does.
This monster can shred at short range and has an impressive TTK at medium range, so do not underestimate this weapon if you find yourself in those situations. Despite its high recoil, its accuracy is easily manageable especially when addressed by attachments in the gunsmith. You’ll be running rampant in no time with the proper setup.
The Striker Recon Long Barrel and .45 Auto High Grain ammunition both increase range and the damage-per-shot for the Striker. It’s well-known that this weapon can perform at longer ranges than most SMGs so we want to capitalize on that advantage.
For mobility we have the DR-6 Handstop improving our ADS speed, movement speed, and aim walking speed. All bonuses that an SMG like the Striker wants to stockpile.
Since we take a hit on our recoil control we utilize both the RB Crotalus Assault Stock and the Sakin ZX Grip to ensure you don’t have to fight the Striker for control. It should be a matter of point and click to score some kills in MW3 multiplayer.
For Perks we want to maximize mobility since the Striker is a fast-paced SMG, we want our Perks to facilitate that slippery movement.
MW3’s Infantry Vest is the best of the best right now, offering low mobility classes a fast-paced option and high mobility classes a way to bring them to the highest heights. SMGs are ammo devourers—constantly spewing mag after mag at the enemy can be very costly for your reserves. So we slip on our Scavenger Gloves to keep the snowball rolling and the kills coming. Combat Sneakers removes footstep sound (Dead silence), allowing you to slip in and out of enemy territory without anyone knowing. Finally, EOD padding keeps you safe from stray frag grenades or killstreaks.
