What Vampiric Curse Does in Diablo 4 Season 2
Not to be confused with the newly introducedVampiric PowersinDiablo 4Season of Blood, Vampiric Curse is a new type of status effect that you’re able to inflict on your enemies with certain Vampiric Powers equipped.
The Curse itself does not actually do anything to your enemies, but once you kill a foe inflicted with the effect, you’ll be able to store their soul. You can store up to eight souls at once, and whenever you cast an Agility, Defensive, or Macabre skill, these souls will be summoned to deal additional damage to your enemies.

Sounds pretty nifty, right? But that’s not all. SomeVampiric Powerswill also allow you to deal additional damage to enemies inflicted with the Curse, or even inflict other status effects on them such as causing them to become Vulnerable.
For the most part, you don’t need to worry too much about the Curse in Diablo 4. Just know that it’s a minor mechanic meant to help you deal more damage in combat.
