Genshin Impact 2.8 update is here, bringing a number of new world quests to the table. Film Notes is one of the many quests debuted in the 2.8 version that rewards travelers with free Primogems and other valuable resources. How to Complete Film Notes World Quest in Genshin Impact

Before we move forward to the guide, it’s worth noting that the Film Notes quest unlocks after completing The Seventh Samurai challenge. On top of that, this guide is divided into two different parts.

Film Notes Quest Part 1 – Outlander Brigade

Here is a step-by-step guide for the first part of the Film Notes world quest:

The Film Notes quest can be started by speaking with Furuta, an NPC who spawns at Kamisato Estate. Therefore, teleport to Kamisato Estate Waypoint and head east.

Teleport to Inazuma City south waypoint and head east. Speak with Xavier to read the script and begin the shoot.

The next step is to choose the correct lines when reading the script:– How did this happen?– But I won’t lose like this?– Don’t underestimate my resolve

Soon after that, five Bandits will spawn nearby that you will need to defeat. After eliminating them, rescue the actors by setting them free from the cages.

Teleport back to the same waypoint and head towards Uyuu Restaurant. Then, talk to Xavier and leave the restaurant.

After that, the first part i.e. Outlander Brigade of the Film Notes quest, will be marked as completed and you will receive the following rewards: Primogems x30, Hero’s Wit x2, Adventure EXP x200, Mora x20,000.

Film Notes Quest Part 2 – Mushounin

Follow these steps to complete the second part of the Film Notes quest:

1. Talk to the two performers – Koharu and Sasano.

2. Change in-game time to 18:00.

Open the Genshin Impact app and tap on Paimon’s head in the top left corner. Then tap the Time button and set the clock to 18:00.

3. Go to the Komore Teahouse.

Komore Teahouse is located in Inazuma City, and talk to Xavier.

4. Select the following dialogues when prompted.

5. Once again, change the in-game time to 18:00.

Tap on Paimon’s head in the top left corner. Then select the Time button and set the clock to 18:00.

6. Go to Nazuchi Beach and defeat the enemies.

Teleport to Nazuchi Beach waypoint and head west. After a short cutscene, a bunch of enemies will spawn in front of you. Defeat them to proceed.

7. Talk to Xavier to begin the shoot and complete the following objectives.

8. Change in-game time to 18:00 and head to the designated location.

After the completion of the shoot, teleport to Inazuma City and head east to reach the designated location.

9. Speak with Xavier and select the following dialogues:

10. Finally, speak with Xavier to complete the second part of the quest.

After completing the third act, head north and use the electrogranum to go up. Finally, talk to Xavier to complete the quest.

After that, the second part i.e. Mushounin of the Film Notes quest, will be marked as completed, and you will receive the following rewards: Primogems x40, Hero’s Wit x3, Adventure EXP x300, Mora x20,000, and Mystic Enhancement Ore x 3.
