How to Get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded
EnshroudedMetal Scrapsare one of the most important early-game materials you’ll need. They’re required to craft useful items like theGrappling Hookand craft stations like the Forge for the Blacksmith. It can’t be found in your immediate vicinity where you’ve set up your first Flame Altar, though, so you’ll need to go hunting as they’re usually found by beating enemies. Fortunately, we’ve found a very handy Metal Scraps farming method in Enshrouded.
There are a few different ways to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded, some of them are easier than others. We’ve listed them all below:
Metal Scraps can be difficult to spot in the environment because of their neutral color and small size, but finding them scattered throughout the world is far easier than having to defeat enemies. Always keep an eye out on your HUD for a prompt to pick them up with ‘E’ as this will flash up when you’re close to them.
Farming Metal Scraps in Enshrouded
Early in the game, Metal Scraps can be farmed from the enemies found on the island just opposite Braelyn Bridge. On your first excursion, you’ll need to walk through the Shroud to get there. But once you’re across the bridge, you’ll find Scavengers clad in crude metal armor standing guard at the Vault where theBlacksmithis.
We’ve included a screenshot down below to show its precise location.
It’s worth noting that just south of the Vault in Rookmore, there is another enemy encampment full of these metal-clad enemies who drop Metal Scraps as well. Rookmore is located where the pale blue circle is on the map screenshot above.
It’s worth noting that the enemies here are level 3, so you’ll want to level up a little before coming here. The encampment can be reached by going through the Shroud at the base of Braelyn Bridge and turning left instead of going straight. You can also reach it with the Glider if you’ve already crafted it.
Killing these enemies will allow you to loot them, and you’ll usually get two or three Metal Scraps off them. There are three enemies at the Vault, so you should be able to get six on each run. Break the pots nearby for even more Metal Scraps.
Enemies will take around three in-game days torespawnin Enshrouded, so you may have to wait a little before you have all the Scrap you need.

You’ll note that most of these enemies are found outside the Shroud. So, we suggest targeting Scavenger strongholds.
