Is the Flame Carnage in Spider-Man 2? Answered
The Symbiote Carnage makes a short appearance during The Flame chain quest inSpider-Man 2. Peter has been helping the Wraith deal with a new violent cult, The Flame, that has been terrorizing the city. After cleaning up some of their bases, the two heroes eventually encounter the mastermind behind these tragedies, Cletus Kasady.
If you don’t know, Kasady is a supervillain who becomes the first and most infamous host of the Carnage Symbiote in the comicverse. Unsurprisingly, Insomniac has decided to put a version of Kasady in their game, and we will definitely see more of him in the future.

You can see Carnage during the last mission in The Flame chain quest, It Was Meant For Me. While attempting to stop the Crimson Hour, Spider-Man and Wraith must prevent a train from hitting a tank filled with flammable liquid. Unfortunately, it causes Peter to get stuck underneath the fallen vehicle, and he can only watch as Kasady steals Carnage from the Oscorp train.
The man believes that the Symbiote is meant for him and plans to use it to bring “truth, judgment, and carnage.” He then leaves the area using a helicopter, which forces Wraith to pick between saving Peter and killing Kasady.

Wraith decides to rescue Spider-Man since she believes he is a good person who will save more people. Ultimately, the two can only let Kasady escape with a dangerous alien. The chain quest ends with our heroes promising to work together again once they locate the madman.
