Warzone’s Season 5 Reloaded update came and went on August 30. Among Fort Resurgence, DRC – Zone 1 multiplayer map and much more, it changed a whole host of weapons in Warzone.Here’s the ultimate Warzone weapon tier list, giving you the best guns for Season 5 Reloaded.
Season 5 Reloadedbrought way moreweapon changesthan were expected. Many were only targeted at MW2 but a lot were Warzone-based, ensuring that the battle royale’s weapon pool was tweaked massively.
We’re taking all the changes into account in our Warzone weapon tier list, ranking guns based on their performance and viability. After our list, we’ll go in-depth on what we think are the three best weapons in Warzone at the moment.
Warzone Season 5 Reloaded Weapon Tier List
With so many changes inS5R, it’s actually been slightly tough to keep track of which have emerged strongest. The Chimera, FR Avancer and Lachmann 556 were among the biggest winners, with each seeing damage output and range improved considerably.
At the other end of the spectrum, the ISO Hemlock received another nerf, as did the Cronen Squall. Both have defied past nerfs but look set for a spell in the lower regions of our tier list (and player picks). In fact, we’re sticking both in B-Tier until we know if they can defy these nerfs, too.
TheFR Avancerand Chimera move up to A-Tier. Both have a fair bit of kick to learn and combat. There damage, though, is mind-blowing after the August 30 update’s changes.
TheLachmann Shroud,the new SMG that’s essentially a silenced and burst-fire Lachmann Sub, debuts in B-Tier. It’s reliable and accurate but not capable of killing fast enough to really upset the balance.

Best Weapons in Warzone Season 5

The M13B was already mighty powerful in Warzone thanks to its fast fire-rate and a significant damage buff makes it even more lethal. A juggernaut of a SMG, the ISO 45 could yet rule the roost when it comes to fast-firing and close-range weapons. It’s powerful, versatile and easy enough to control. You’ll certainly struggle against ARs at medium ranges but, provided you use it sensibly you’ll be rewarded:
Now arguably the best SMG in Warzone, the VEL 46 (or MP7 of old) is a true juggernaut up close, dropping enemies in a way no other SMG can do. While it does struggle at longer-ranges, the right attachments put it in a league of its own where SMGs thrive:
