Kemono Jihen Season 2 Release Date
Although there isno official release date, the creator of the Kemono Jihen, Sho Aimoto, has vaguely mentioned what will happen next in the anime. In 2021, she made a Twitter post thanking the fans for their support and talked about how the next season is based on the original story, Izayajima.

Besides this tweet, the official website of Kemono Jihen is still releasing new merchandise and hosting pop-up shops for the anime. So, when you consider this information, the chances of a new season are high, but we’ll have to wait until more time passes.
If you aren’t too familiar with the show or need a refresher, Kemono Jihen tells the story of Detective Kohachi Inugami when he investigates multiple sightings of rotten animal carcasses in a mountain village called “Inugami.” While on the case, he meets Kabane Kusaka, a child born from a human and a Khoular (a bloodless demon.)
Due to the boy’s supernatural connections, he helps Inugami in the investigation and eventually goes with him to help search for his parents. From then on, Kabane starts working for the Inugami Strangeness Counseling Office and befriends other characters of the company, including Shiki Tademaru and Ayumu Murase.
