Where to Find Cigar Boxes in Warzone DMZ
Warzone Season 5 is upon us and players are still searching for Cigar Boxes, with the small items integral to completing a variety of challenges in CoD’s DMZ extraction mode.Here are the best Cigar Box locations in DMZ.
DMZ Cigar Box Locations
Season 5ofDMZchanged an awful lot, but it didn’t tweak the location of Cigar Boxes. Unfortunately, that means there’s still no known set spawns for them. In short, we can’t recommend one box, crate, bag or cache where players can guarantee themselves Cigar Boxes.
However, we know that they are still especially common onAshika Island,the map that originally dropped for Resurgence BR. It’s also one of DMZ’s Exclusion Zones and looting areas yields Cigar Boxes frequently.
Specifically, Cigar Boxes turn up frequently inFirst Aid Kits, Medical Boxes and Bathroom Cabinets.For unknown reasons (maybe the residents of Ashika enjoyed a Cigar in the bathtub), they’re most commonly found in these medical supply caches.
As a result, we recommend heading to an area of Ashika Island with plenty of loot-heavy buildings. Town Center is a great location, as is Oganikku Farms. That’s where we found two Cigar Boxes, shown in the image below. They’re not the easiest of items to identify; just a small rectangular box that’s worth $100 in-game.
Despite their low value, they’re important in ranking up aspects of your Active Duty Operator, likeincreasing WalletandContraband Stash sizes. That goes to explain why they’re so in demand in Season 5.
Players can find them in other exclusion zones, with reports of players finding them on Al Mazrah andVondel. We haven’t found them on Vondel ourselves, but we have come across them in the following locations in Al Mazrah:
